NFDB Assisted Projects
National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad provides 90 % financial assistance for the construction of Modern Fish Markets across Kerala. NFDB has accorded sanction for the construction of 41 markets out of which 18 are completed. The total outlay of the project is Rs. 78.71crore with NFDB share of Rs. 64.43 crore and State share of Rs. 14.28 crore.
The construction of the markets is in various stages of implementation. In addition to the above, proposals for 11 markets for a total outlay of Rs. 21 crore is pending sanction with NFDB.
